Thoughts on a Tuesday

a summation of my recent thoughts and experiences
on summer- I love it so much. I love it so much I want to marry it. I can’t get enough of being outside, and I wish summer would never end.

on pancakes- I could go for some

on poison ivy- I got into poison ivy last week for the first time in my life. Ew. Awful. Never want it again.

on health- Isn’t it funny how a tiny baby scrape on your pinky finger can set your whole hand ablaze? It only takes a little bit of pain sometimes to think about how good it feels to NOT be in pain. After having poison ivy on one hand, and scraping my pinky finger on the concrete on the other hand, it’s whipped me into shape on the reminder to be thankful for health when I’m not dealing with rashes and scrapes. On another note, I’m thankful I’m not suffering with terminal illness or disease. There’s a lot of people I know that are, and my heart goes out to them.

on laundry- It’s that time of year again. The time of year that if you wait longer than 10 seconds to move your clothes from the washer to the dryer they’ll smell sour. I have had to rewash countless loads of laundry over the years  in summertime because of this. I’m horrible to remember to switch it over!

on “you can thank me later”- Chick-fil-A has a watermelon mint lemonade right now. Ask for a watermelon mint Arnold Palmers using unsweet tea. SO good and summery!
